Naruto can withstand the Kyuubi's chakra simply because he is as strong or stronger than the Kyuubi that is imprisoned in him. If you read the manga later, Captain Yamato even said that. In order to imprison the Kyuubi, an opposite chakra has to be as strong or stronger to properly imprison it. So in essence, Naruto is pretty strong. He just lacks the brains and techniques.

Yeah Jiraiya is pretty strong. I still remember that part Gasy .

Btw, Naruto's chakra could be unique since its to specifically counter the Kyuubi's chakra but you still can't deny that at this stage, Naruto has more chakra storage than the other characters his lvl (even surpassing kakashi). Not anyone can do tajuu kage bunshin no jutsu easily as Naruto.

Most probably the first Uchiha to achieve Mangekyou Sharingan level.

Its quite sad really that they have never shown Jiraiya in action. We have never seen him in full power because in most of the fights he was in he was either poisoned or the enemy ran away. For now, we have only seen Orochimaru in full action. And for some reason, I have a feeling we will see Jiraiya in action soon ... and probably his death.

Seriously though since he has already attained mangekyou sharingan, Sasuke has no need of killing Naruto. Might as well go straight for Itachi and get it over with. Whatever happens after that though ... is anyone's guess.

I thought Sasuke has mangekyou sharingan as well.

What tipped me off is during the episode that he went inside Naruto and saw the Kyubi. The Kyubi did mention that the only other person to be able to do that was another Uchiha that had the mangekyou sharingan as well.

He'd still have to fight Naruto to get Sakura for himself.
