I think what they are trying to say is.... Jiraiya's old student is Namikaze Minato, his resemblance to naruto is dat they both have the desire to succeed and they are both nice people, and then Tsunade says about how different naruto is from his dad, which in turn then talks about his mother, Uzumaki Kushina where she had a constant jabbering and had red hair which naruto has.. and then next jiraiya says he thinks of naruto as his grandson.. Jiraiya's student is minato,which he refers to as a son, and then minato's son is naruto.. and jiraiya's next student is naruto.. which he refers to as grandson...

Yondaime can't be Naruto's dad , their surname Uzumaki is different.

It saddens me to see that Ero-sennin is approaching his death...
Last time before Asuma died he talked a lot about how it means to sacrifice for the village like his father, and boom, he died.
This time Jiraiya seems to talk a lot...and I think he is dying in the next few chapters

From what Tsunade said, Naruto's mom is also the type that shout and runs into battle using kage bunshin/ taijutsu based attack.
And jiraiya coming out from a frog = WIN!
