 actually how to delete HL2

as the topic above actually how to delete half life 2???? i tried using the "delete local content" but it dosen't work????

so how

use the "add remove program" to remove it???

You have to delete EVERY game that uses HL2 assets. So, your Counter-Strike Source, Day of Defeat: Source (Not sure about this), HL2 DM and Source SDK will have to go.

If that doesn't work, just delete the .gcf files I guess.

Yes it is. But they all share the same resource file (Which takes up most of the space). So, to fully remove Half-Life 2, you have to remove everything that uses its resources as well.

If you buy CSS without HL2, you will have the entire resource file as well.

Think of it as the .NET of gaming laugh.gif

no guys.. i delete my half life and i leave my cs:s its okay by then.. just click "delete local content".. dats the way i used.. no prob wat so ever.. but im still curious how de hell did it manage to uninstall hl2 such a fast speed.. hehee..

for ur case.. then.. i think ur steam got problem.. if u delete steam, this wont solve it i think.. did u try googling it?

well itried that that the thing that i wanted to ask when i delete the local content i dosn't see my any of my free disk space change....

You have to remember that the "local" content of HL2 is around 800 MB only. So if you have a big hard disk, you're not gonna see a big difference.
