Braking sound when you're coming to a halt? I think it's a design flaw for the Persona, so I don't think you can avoid it unless you re-adjust your braking style to be earlier so you can lift of the brakes gradually as the car comes to a stop. Maybe changing to higher quality brake rotors will help.

As for the "hissing" noise, you should bring it back to a service centre to have it checked. Perhaps you can try adjusting the air vents to different position and try accelerating to see if the noise is still there. If it disappears after you re-adjust the vent(s), they're probably the cause.

the braking usually happens when i wait for the traffic light. Sometimes, we move some short distance while the light is still red. This is the time the brake sound come alive~~

seems like there are others who faced this issue too and get their car fixed in the sc but i was like paying the sc visit for lots of times since i get the car dy... vmad.gif

Brake sound is consider normal to me during cold weather or morning.

air-cond duct with sound is normal too, sometimes is there, sometimes it isn't, usually the sound from radio would mute that noise.

Remember, no sound = not original Proton.  rolleyes.gif

Not everyone is like a jibai who buy car without find out how it really feels during driving.
Not everyone is like a jibai who buy car and don't care what colour.
Not everyone is like a jibai who walk buy car without seeing the car in action.
Not everyone is like a jibai who got money in wallet to simply buy car without considering the budget limit.
Not everyone is like a jibai who can afford to makan jiken malam that goes by pieces and weight that cost RM5+ a kilo instead 1 night, RM200.  whistling.gif

On side note, once car issues are sorted out initially, the maintenance are actually cheaper than other cars especially after you go outside workshop. Itu air filter and oil filter pricing already save me a bundle vs Hondas.

Shit... Im one of those jibai... sad.gif
