Hi guys, wanna ask, anybody replace the Door Lock Actuator (Driver Side) before ?

How much does it cost roughly ?

Easy to install ourself ?

Same here, especially after rain the disc still wet. But after press few time brake the sound gone. The Disc Plate surface berkarat , so after few gosok from the brake pad, the sound gone.

Mine more frequent after 2nd time change brake Pad ( I'm using OEM mintye brand ) , i skim my disc plate before install the new brake pad coz the plate "makan already"

The original came out from manufacturer is Bosch which damm lots of powder (1st year still ok, even wet disc plate also wont hear the sound, but after almost 3 year usage, the sound came out)

By the way, i only use my car on weekend / holiday, after 3 year, during change my 2nd set disc brake pad , the 1st set pad still got 30% remain and condition still very nice, but due of disc plate makan already, to avoid more problem later , no choice have to abandon the old brake pad and replace new one.


Oh ya, the foremen told me , those ceramic brake pad might be more noisy compare to powder type brake pad. (Donno he got cheat me or not)

Oic, plan to get the original one as the gun type i tried before on my old iswara, gonna adjust betul betul or else the knob up and down problem keep on come back.

Haiz....until now i still not found what causes the door auto lock when slam the drive side door (Happen randomly). Plan to give a try by replace the actuator.... hope it solve the problem.

Saw many people facing this, but no solution.
