Can't say for the gen that unker Cavino owns (CVT wan), but compared to the previous gen 5-spd auto wan, the new one memang more sampan.

I've seen Altis and camry being used as taxi in Philippines. Imagine seating in a common taxi is also higher class than our so-called low-medium class here.
Same in Taiwan, Altis and Camry as taxis.
But then you also see cheaper private cars running around, I don't think they mind that their cars are cheaper than taxi. The Vios is regarded as god car as well over there.

Proton got the worst warranty among most established car manufacturer. It looks normal like 2 years or so but unlike others when there is defect such as coolant leaking due to rubber ring spoiled, etc, we still have to pay for the parts coz its under wear and tear. For other makes' warranty, any engine parts, rubber etc, spoiled during the warranty period, FOC, as long as its part of the engine. So the warranty comes with lots of limitation even on the engine unlike others.
I have not pay a single cents on any engine repair and parts during my 3 years warranty period of my City. Even those cables, rubbers holding, clips, all replace FOC.

My Ford battery even has 3 year warranty. Absorber also the same.
Proton,only engine and transmission has the full warranty period (3 years for most models, 2 years for Persona SV, 5 years for Preve and Suprima), other parts of the car are one yearor no warranty at all, except power window lifetime/10 years warranty and the radio HU 2 years.
So if your electric side mirror kong after 1 year and 2 hours.....gg.com.
