I also in dilemma now, saw quicksave usj doing promotion for GT Radial HPY size 215/45/17 at rm318 (Rebate rm50/tire) for 2012 tyre with 4year warranty. But my friend told me 215/45/17 will make our ride damn bumpy and tyre look smaller. Right now im using 225/50/17 so wonder what size is suitable for my next tyre.

Now he is recommend me Hankook S1 Noble size 225/45/17 at rm370/pc. Anyone used the tyre before?

Appreciate your comment smile.gif

a tyre shop recommend me use 215/55/17 less bumpy..

speedometer offset is NORMAL, stock tyre on car , speedo show 110, actual speed about 105.
yes 225/40r18 smaller than stock 205/60r16 wheel

lancer ori rims considered super heavy for such narrow 7 inches width, weighted at 12kg+-
17 inches, depend what u get, if imitation china/taiwan rim, it wont be as durable as ori rim.
have a look at advanti if u wan cheap and good.

for 17 size recommended was 215/50r17.
*
my inspira is using Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback, the Sportback sits on 18-inch 10-spoke alloys (grey color one), MITSUBISHI LANCER 2008 18x7 . not sure is the rim you talk (super heavy ) or not.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MITSUBISHI-LANCER-...#ht_2825wt_1362

but the look is nice.

if in this case, i have to search and plan change to 17" but normal 17' weight is how many kg? dun want talk the japan rims like ssr or Enkei rim.

thanks ya brother.

yeah this one, super heavy and sturdy rim

about 17 , average about 8kg+-

light weight one 6 to 7kg

why i said the lancer stock rim heavy, because evo x 18x8.5 inches rims, wider yes, but weighted at 10kg, this one narrower 7j, but 12kg, lol
*
the normal 17" sports rim weigh is feel like inspira 16" rim.
but base on your information, look like i have to plan downsize my rim to 17' to reduce excessive wear on the engine and gearbox of my vehicle.

..

thanks brothers.

got a lot of people using ATR Sport...very cheap and can hentam happily..laugh.gif

some people here everyday hentam naik Genting, some won 2nd place gymkhana with it.

Republic of Cheapskates Tyre Rules for Dummies:-

1. It has to be cheap
2. If can GB then even gooding  rclxms.gif  thumbup.gif
3. It has to last for a very long time
4. SOUND = PERFORMANCE (ATR is very noisy laugh.gif)
5. It has to perform so so on dry and wet (You don't expect good performance review on dry and wet on a cheapskate tyres)

Most important rule of all, drive safe people, value your life but enjoy your car.. laugh.gif  biggrin.gif
*
thanks for the advice.
drive safe people, value your life.

currently i'm using below tyre. but due to wrong size and noise so, plan to change it.

So when come to keluaran P1, then totally not in their list jor

Hi guys and girls (if any), got my 1.8MT 2 weeks ago, so far so good. Just that I used to drive 4G93 Wira for bout 6 years, so lala feels kinda underpowered. But the ride quality is nice and quiet, too quiet and smooth till I forgot to upshift.lol.

Most people that questioned me before I got the car was surprised of the quality and spaciousness of the lala.  thumbup.gif

try pump your LALA until RPM 5k and see under power or got power .. laugh.gif laugh.gif
