Anyone here topped the 4.5K-5K MMR rankings for Dota 2?

I thought "someone" was suppose to be in the Top 100. Now it's good for those top players to recruit you for a team!

They had been going strong. I was wondering why they are so strong suddenly.

1. They recruited PPD/Zai whom are top HoN players who migrated to D2 progressively under team names like Super Strong Dinosaurs (SSD)
2. EE-Sama stand-in is strong!
3. EG is performing as the best in US now compared Liquid. Far stronger but their roster ain't all from the same country.
4. EG may be Top 1 or Top 2 in this event.

What some guys do not KNOW is that MMR is still a flawed system? I think I blasted some crooked forumers with so called 4K MMR and now they're gone!

Lose 10 games still get 4.6K close enough?

I never condemn the fact since I'm close to 4K MMR and my account trolled a lot of games with Pinoy before MMR was implemented.

I beat a few 5K MMR's with my 4K MMR competitive friends. Just to see that the level is fragile if they don't have tournament experiences. Vice versa.



See players with 7K MMR? I think they'll still be lack of form in LAN tournaments because? They lack real face-to-face competitive FEELS / AURA.

It ranks but as you see from the photo. It clearly shows there are FLAWS. I don't see many 4K MMR succeed too.

Lots of PINOYS had 4K MMR and they are disrupting the gameplay. You have to understand it is a system but the FLAWS is huge if you blend in SEA players , the regions , demographic and vice versa. The unlucky pros will keep dropping their MMRs.

Trust me. I saw my friend with Party MMR 5K and keep droping until 4.7K and up to 4.9K and again dropping around. Why? When they have no full teams, they gonna play with publics they don't know.

I won't say much since I know our best teams in Malaysia namely Orange or Titan etc. Their MMR is lower than many here. So why the fuss? They won't recruit people who don't have RAW MATERIALS (RAW PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE) is what most high MMR players (4K or 5K) lack.

Your right about 6K MMR players but I only see players like iceiceice doing very try hard when their teams are burden. In fact, he lost. I may not have change the forumer's mindset for now. But when time comes, all will believe what I am saying.

Because I sense a lot of "low-confident souls" trying to argue about the flaws of MMR when I try to repeat the fact it is not perfect. Bah.

As from my research, a few who are "against" me in this forumer are no less than 4 so far or maybe 8? Is that all? What do you guys achieve in your life? I'm curious? Or setting up a tournament full of AI looking humans and be proud? Or trying to tackle a team of amateurs that consist of pro players for example Titan?

Dude, I understand how hard for 6K-7K MMR players to carry teams that have many burdens. It just won't change the flow if the players with them are not grasping the concept properly when in war situations and vice versa mode.

So here comes another low confident guy. Bravo. I don't see Malaysia raising with this kind of attitudes and mindset.

Another ADD. I have been complaining with ex-WCG committees and those who work and they are on my side, maybe reject some of my idea and theory.

All in all, I see them more to my side, knowing that twerps like you in forums, should take a rinse and see if I'm RIGHT all along.

Listen, the conclusion is MMR flawed for Dota 2 and CS:GO. In CS:GO, I can beat AK47 and close to Eagle ranks because that game can 1v5 or 2v5 vice versa as your mates die. Dota 2 is a different mechanism.

But speaking here, it's like I see many underachievers. Just "MMR" , just numbers... But mentality will not bring you far. Keep it on.

Just play ranked. Normal games have 5-7K MMR players also. Easier way to avoid MMR rating. As long you got the mentality.

I don't dare to claim that. But as a team manager of former top SEA teams in 2010, I think 4K MMR is just as good as decent. But not all 4K MMR players are the same standard as in the same group of 4K so as 3K. I'll judge 3K MMR by their growing potentials, several games played than saying they are forever 3K MMR. Some players can grow from 4K to 5K in one week , two weeks or several months. It all depends.

You guys know the big names. I know their efforts and hard work. Compared "some" forumers here. Nagging against me. Have you forgotten you could have used those hours to enlighten your skills in Dota 2? If you do love competitive, you love to raise up your MMR in hopes maybe get a good team. Think twice before you want to make me RAGE on poor souls.


You got a point. But the MMR thing was just posted based on one thread that was closed. You say fun and enjoy. Of course we do want it. A fool? I'll be reluctant to see how you guys are in REAL LIFE.

That one is former competitive player. Not sure about it but has relation to "bootlicking" of Dota 2 community.
