Okay, I just DCed from a game and couldn't reconnect. After the first try, I didn't even have the option of reconnecting and I'm assuming the game is lost and not recorded. What the f*** SEA server. This was a game I was clearly going to win.

Anybody else got that problem?

And holy shit, Ursa can solo Roshan at level 4 now.

Another tip for warding. You can tell where people are warding if you manage to see them. If you see a support appear in your ward vision on your minimap, take a couple of seconds to look at them. You'll know when they place a ward if they look in a certain direction without moving for more than a couple of seconds. And if you see observer wards in the enemy inventory, it doesn't hurt to deward common warding spots anyways.

And please for the love of God, deward before you attempt to Rosh. Or at least smoke up.

Vengeful Spirit is a VERY powerful support who is relevant late game, unlike CM who dies in 3 hits. Compounded by the fact that Vengence Aura has been buffed to a pain in the ass for you enemy. And her awesome ultimate.

I played in AGL and PD2. What's up?

Looking for a more competitive environment (preferably not tournaments YET).

Were either of those any good?

Nope. Most leagues are more of an ego cesspool than anything else, unless you're in a league where the minimum rank is 5k (4k is the worst MMR bracket attitude-wise). If your MMR is anything below that, you're probably better off just queuing AP ranked as other modes are less populated on SEA and you'll end up with unbalanced games.

If you have a decent 5-stack, just sign up for JDL.
*
Thanks for the tip. Finding a 5-stack is hard enough already, let alone a decent one.

Season 2 has already begun right? Is it an annual thing or...?

inb4 teammate problem

I'm trying to play my best already...but somehow I feel something lacking hmm.gif

When the match 1st started some1 pick pudge and the BS player go crazy...scold scold blablabla and then me and him top (off lane)...I ask him play safe he very aggressive end up always kena ganked and he always ask me for tango when he can heal with last hit, but I gave him some anyway laugh.gif

Dazzle and PA was good, perhaps I didn't ganked a lot ? hmm.gif
*
You should have gotten a Desolator after your Drums. Maybe replace your Bottle with an Urn since you didn't go mid and Pudge bought a Bottle already.

Other than that, it's probably the BS who fed them a lot. Going Force Staff and SnY first is terrible.

For clock what is the optimal skill build ? Agha good on clock ?
Actually I like bane his solo mid very strong IMO, but then when enemy 5 man it's really hard. He lack AOE.  sad.gif
*
You should get 1 level of your Q, W and E by level 3. After that 9 times out of 10 you max your Q (Battery Assault) first, followed by Rockets and then finally cogs. Always take cogs at level 1.

Aghanims is good on Clock, but you should not rush it. A Clock with Boots and Aghanims is useless compared to a Clock with Boots, Force Staff, Drums and Urn. 12 second ulti is nice, but it will be a very long time before you can start spamming it.

My usual itembuild is Phase > Urn (Bottle) > Drums > Force Staff (Blademail).

Everything after that is situational. You can go straight for Aghanims or you can get Necrobook, Orchid, Hex, BKB or Heaven's Halberd. Just get whatever your team needs the most.

Boots of Speed then Finish Urn or finish phase then go urn ?  hmm.gif

Depends. If you can finish your Phase in lane before level 6, then do it. If you can't, then just get an Urn and finish your Phase after that.

Clockwerk should be the one that goes in first right during team battle?
I see, oh yea which lane is optimal of clock ?
*
Most of the time yes, but I think he works best after another person goes it to initiate, like a Magnus or Tidehunter. If he's the first one to go in, he'll die very easily.

If you can, solo offlane. Mid or safelane is also good though.

I think clock going mid is a waste.. maybe just me brows.gif
He can really contest the offlane tho. Decent survivability and can throw the equilibrium of the lane.
*
But if you don't have any other mid in your team, or nobody wants to, then clock can go mid. Not saying he should or must, but he can basically go any lane and still do a decent job.

Please get a Force Staff of Clockwerk. It's the only "ate" game item you need. Hook their carry and trap them in cogs then force staff yourself out, and it's a 6 second "stun", or at least until they destroy it.

hi guys

should AM get necrobook?

tried once, but only managed to get it after all enemy Tier 2 towers destroyed.

so I'm still not sure if it's a good item for split push AM.
*
Necrobook is only good if you will be pushng 90% of the time (Lycan or NP), if you need more push (Bane) or they have annoying invisible heroes.

Problem comes when you look at your minimap TOO much, especially with Mirana arrows.

Please. No Pudge arcana. We have too many Pudge pickers in games already and there are a lot of super nice sets for Pudge.

I think Puck or Rubick deserves an Arcana.

Has anyone been experiencing delay in-game? When I play Ember Spirit I can't see my remnants or Invoker's tornado. Really annoying.

Sometimes I lose connection to the Dota 2 network as well. Its f***ing annoying and loses games.

sad.gif I don't think they understand me very well.

Anyways, yesterday I stood-in for a scrim for one of my friends. It was my first real look at a competitive experience. Even though I lost, I thought it was x10 more fun than pubs.

Any place I can go to scrim or play more competitively?

To be fair, game impact isn't wholly dependent on just one person or role. A good support can also have as much impact on the game as a solo mid does. It's just that it a lot harder to make a noticeable impact as a support cause you have to go beyond upgrading the courier and buying wards. There is just so much more to being a support.

VS is a super good support for pubs. Can gank, has stun/nuke and has freaking OP aura.

And can go semi-carry if you really need to, but not as good though.
