If you are farming quite well, midas is a bonus. If not skipping Midas is also a viable build as his devour is basically a free midas for you. Most dooms will be jungling but I still prefer laning doom unless team has heroes which need levels fast.

So midas is not a must. All items in Dota is situational. Different in most games.

Their mistake is usually theyre too aggressive.

Depend on situation , if you need an early meka than Midas , just skip the Midas .
Cons for Doom : Low armor , means right clicker will kill you in no time (Meka : adds you some armor and stats points and additional 250HP recover when click it , and a stout shield will do some damage blocking for you in early game . ) Low Mana Pool ( You can't spam LVL death as much as you can if you devour creeps that much , so in later game I get shiva for boosting the mana pool plus armor ) Tips : Get an early Soul Ring if you really needs to use your skills that much . For me Phase boots > Arcane Boots for Doom , since doom only needs those mana for devour creeps , Doom hero , Lvl death to do some damage to hero and last that HP Regen + movespeed + DPS Lari Api skill .
If you don't know why doom run so fast when that skill clicked , try to walk on the road without wearing shoes on afternoon .

Clock very nice hero , on early + mid game but not so good if late game .
Scepter is a must get items on Clock I think , that 12 scd hookshot is wicked sicked .
Stout shield > Shoes(Can choose between phase/tranquility) > Urn > Wood magic Sticks(not really)/Bottles > Rush for scepter .
Try to move around and gank after getting boots and Urn , get smoke + TP .

Depends. If you can finish your Phase in lane before level 6, then do it. If you can't, then just get an Urn and finish your Phase after that.

Most of the time yes, but I think he works best after another person goes it to initiate, like a Magnus or Tidehunter. If he's the first one to go in, he'll die very easily.

If you can, solo offlane. Mid or safelane is also good though.

I think clock going mid is a waste.. maybe just me
He can really contest the offlane tho. Decent survivability and can throw the equilibrium of the lane.

Don't forget that he can block pull camps easily too.

But if you don't have any other mid in your team, or nobody wants to, then clock can go mid. Not saying he should or must, but he can basically go any lane and still do a decent job.

Please get a Force Staff of Clockwerk. It's the only "ate" game item you need. Hook their carry and trap them in cogs then force staff yourself out, and it's a 6 second "stun", or at least until they destroy it.

tried once, but only managed to get it after all enemy Tier 2 towers destroyed.

so I'm still not sure if it's a good item for split push AM.

Drum + offering + manta will do all the job .

Usually I will just skip drum on AM.

Well if you want a split push , then you should get it .
Drum you'll still get some reasonable stats and some damage , ms and the atk speed , which that book didn't , plus the book really cost you a lot , you can get BKB and Butterfly with that amount of golds , so why would you waste it for that porno book anyway ?

Okay ,as usual you won't see any AGI hero will get book because it didn't add AGI , only STR and INT , so no damage added for AGI hero , plus agi hero = Carry , and mostly depending on items , so would you waste that amount of golds just for that 2 shitty and nerfed hentai minions other than getting late game items , you can go ahead .
Tips : Your supports pull the NC for you , let you farm all the last hit , and you go get hentai book instead of getting proper damage and boosting items , I'm very sure you'll get fxcked up hard if you lose the game .

Necrobook is only good if you will be pushng 90% of the time (Lycan or NP), if you need more push (Bane) or they have annoying invisible heroes.

not to forget that necro book synergies with lycan well with the howl also. NP.. just tp necro + treants will do the job.

The split push power of AM comes from battlefury (built 90% of the time) + manta style, which pushes the creep wave so fast. necro IMO is just a waste of slot on AM.
