Hello again guys, i'm currently playing BF4 with just the base game and i was thinking of buying the PREMIUM membership. As it seems, origin wont accept my MAYBANK Visa card to complete the purchase, error 10049.

Help me resolve this issue if you have experience or knowledge of it.

i bought mine from amazon, not origin SG coz the better exchange rate was leaning on usd at that time

You get the key almost immediately, activates on origin just fine as EA, at the very least, still have the common sense not to region lock like some other publishers

The only problem with AMAZON is that you require to key in USA billing address to purchase some of the games key code. I'm not sure whether it applies to every PC games.

Just sign up an account at vPost using Oregon state and you won't get taxed.

So basically i have to buy through non-official channels?

Thanks for the offer but, again, there's no way to ensure the safety of the buy unless one party gives in and take the risk.

ie. you buy then i bank in the amount.
But i would doubt you ake the risk.

i used my maybank debit card before to purchase.
u probably need to call maybank to authorise it.

And non-official channels refers to...? If you can't purchase straight from origin, your safest bet is to purchase from amazon.. you just have to sign up with vpost or some other website to obtain a US address(many people do this and it's safe). Other gaming sites like gamer's gate and greenmangaming limits EA purchases only to a certain region. Your next bet is to purchase from someone else which you've been very reluctant to do so.

I should give maybank a call to find out.

don't worry, I was in the same boat, bought in the end with my bro's Hong Leong debit. my thread already detailed this since last year.

Was advised later by another member that linking the Maybank to your Paypal and using Paypal option in Origin store will work.
