Thx mate i will use this method, but incase unsuccesful or damaging the 6pins (simcard detection) anybody knows a shop can repair this.
Nokia asked for motherboard change which cost 3/4 of the new phone price.

that guy pull it out the converter and i guess luck on my side coz not break those pins..

now I'm officially a proud owner of 1020 again.. haha

they charge straight to my phone bill.
easy peasy.

After two weeks of usage i can proudlly say that my case is worth every penny and time to get.
Ppl especially my colleague ask it a lot,
I feel bit like a nokia ambassador minus salary/royalty.

My official track record : 1 Nokia 525 and 1 Nokia 1520 signed up. Others follow up soon.

i've been searching all over Malaysia and call many shopkeeper but to no avail.
End up order it from amazon.com
Waited one month plus then only receive the item.
Cost me RM150.00 plus shipping.

yeah! 909 not sound as good as 1020 - in marketing point of view.

still love 1020 although Galaxy Note edge and Mi4 tickle me a bit but i guess as it not yet available its not gonna bother me much.

1020 still make me proud to carry around and still relevent to use
WP8.1 also gave sense of continuity to love this phone extra more

My 1020 just died. Woke up morning and no batt at all.
Immediately charge but still fail.
What happen?

Its false alarm.
I did soft reset then only the phone charging itself. At first the windows logo blinking for a few minutes then it restart by itself.

Oh my.. Soooo relieve

before going for sleep i remember got 30%+ maybe theres apps that not close properly eating all the batt..
Normally Ok je.

wonder if my android loving friends knows about this definitely gonna straight jump to conclusion i guess..haha
