Its still one of the best camera phone and video phone....i have couple semi-pro video shots using tripod for 8 hours show!!!

but not worth the repair...since it lags with current latest softwares....hence it better to move on to new phone...just my pov

just stick to 8.1


bcoz the hardware not fast enough (only dualcore cpu if not mistaken)


i will revive or getting another one when money permits later on...

now have to settle with cheap teclast tablet

yeah i do really miss the high quality picture...when 5mp image easily blows those 8mp,12-13mp of android phone image quality

hi there, how long does your 1020 battery last as i am having battery life issue. Even have replaced the new battery still the same battery drainage (~8% / hr).
- wifi / bluetooth / GPS off
- battery saver on
- Touch wake / Glance / Screen saver off
- No apps installed

Use only for calling (light use)

what version of the OS are you on?

For light usage, should last close to 2 days

factory reset is the only way...

OS Version : 8.10.14226.359




I have done before soft reset and factory reset but haven't try back after replace new battery.
I will try to reset the phone again...

I have try factory reset :
- Wifi / Data/ NFC/ Bluetooth/ Glance OFF
- Brightness Low, touch sensitivity low
- Battery saver on all the way
- No use the phone, only check the phone battery left


Below are the detail

1. Factory Rest to latest backup
96% - 1200hrs
3% - 1700hrs

about 18.6% / hr


2. Factory Reset to oldest backuo
100% - 0700hrs
33% - 1200hrs

about 13.4% / hr

3. Factory Reset no recovery
99% - 1340hrs
56% - 1640hrs

about 14.3% / hr

no choice...change mobo...its embedded in mobo... L1020 and L1520 the have similar usb

confirm no official WP10 for L1020?

Hmm...not sure about it have bought and changed another ori battery yet still having same issue.
Now switch to use NK 230 since not much used it

Of course not. Never use it for more than 2 years already. Just keep it as I had fond memories with Nokia.

This phone is great but apps are terrible. Most apps not been updated for years and very buggy. That's why never use Windows phone again.

I am having issue with my Lumia 1020's camera. Camera app crashes and screen return to Start. Any app related to camera (eg: WhatsApp, WeChat) crashed if camera feature is activated.

Did a hard reset. It works for awhile then crashes. This is very frustrating. Anyone can recommend 3rd party repair shop? Do not want to send it to AmCorp Mall as their cost is expensive.

just now waiting for battery to arrive....

Im also still using my 1020 but only as camera. Anyone know where can i get the camera grip. Mine shutter key already spoilt
