No issues for me after the Denim update.
Battery also seems alright, even when I on LTE most of the time while browsing, whatsapp, fb and instagram.

i prefer send to sc direct because i suspect the battery also dying.....
last night i noticed that even plugged to wall charger and using the phone for wechat.....the battery level dropped....

and it lags a lot in certain area especially in my massive-loaded whatsapp, opening picture album in whatsapp, opening contact and several part where it require heavy task....

any 1020 to be letgo? ..haha

update....after hard reset....it works all good again like new....battery life,charging rate also back to 30-40%/hour range.. (before reset stuck at 20%/hour rate max)
and its good to see so many free space....hahaha

now downloading all the apps again.... (atleast sms and all phone setting incling wallpaper etc etc restored) just whatsapp history gone...yet the whatsapp group still remain....
i think the main problem is because of DP with so many installed update...all those update package stuck somewhere where we cant delete it in the phone...taking too much memory resource....hard reset solve it..but i forgot to backup my latest 2months photo collection(*which is the most valuable since got many new interesting photo memory ) .... 

after denim..i reset the phone and back to DP and cyan (altough the firmware/os number match denim)

battery back to normal.....(on idle phone locked for long time discharge rate is 0.0% (locked more than 3 hour night time till morning)

camera faster and everything seems loading quite fine (normal)
just now rolled back DP...still no denim (firmware matches denim and phone up to date )

True story bro..... I sold my 920 after upgrading to 1520, wanted to keep 920 if the price wasn't right, I really do not want to sell it, but its better to share it than let it die in the drawer. The person who bought my 920 is enjoying the phone now =)

My 1020 Camera Focus failed nearly 1 years now. It can't focus clearly on object farer than 10 feet.

Always can't focus or focus with blurry image. I saw quit a lot of people having this issue, and I strongly believe that it is 8.1 update caused the focus not working (The update for the continuous focus support for new models that broke this).

I'm surprised that there's no post about this in Lowyat.

I've tried to revert back to WP8 no seems no way to do so.

Sad...I got my new Z3+ but found that the camera is no way near to 1020 standard...sad...

Counting... Wow, I have 50-60 Live Tiles.
Not all are frequently used. I think the number of frequent Live Tiles I used daily is like about 10 only.

I am waiting for Windows 10 Mobile to officially release. Once that happen, I will keep my Live Tiles to the minimal. I kinda lazy to do now, and later a few months, sorting out again.

I think in Technical view, yes. It would consume memories. But in my everyday opinion, I don't really see any much differences especially for a Lumia 1020 user, who wish to use less Live Tiles to divert the free memory elsewhere. Because it is already overall slow. Unless like current Lumia lineup which uses Quad Core processor, then that I see clear differences.

Nevertheless, I will like to hear from you after you try.

i wouldnt send there...warranty is over...

plus there is one tech shop able to replace faulty chip/part for nokia lumia series....price pretty affordable too (cheaper than replacing whole board)

The Glass Screen Cracked. So far, no LCD Leaked or anythiing like that. Touch still very responsive. I am still using the phone though the screen is cracked.

Damn, should I be happy that I have an excuse to get a new phone? Actually I am not because I am in a cross-road whether to switch or stick around.

The reason I wish to switch is primary the App Gap issue. I think it is eating me.

The reason I wish to stick is simply, I love Windows Phone OS - its simplicity, glance-one-go at all the LiveTile for updates, plus Glance screen. Efficient. I am not exactly a Mobile-Only person. I still prefer my Laptop for browsing, gaming, productivity works. Another reason to stick around, I am looking for the next generation Lumia or Surface Phone or whatever it could be called.
