Same here. 5mb is sufficient for me most of the time.

You let me know your progress.
I am skeptical the local small shop know how to properly open the phone. Lumia single polycarbonate doesn't look like have the typical side opening.

I know there's one seller actively looking to sell off his original wireless charging cover at RM50. Perhaps you can have a look?

Btw it's not difficult at all to open the phone. I myself open the phone and change the shell from white to yellow color through youtube tutorial. So it shouldn't be a problem for local headphone shop to open it.

Yes the phone is slow at times especially the camera. I have tried to replace it with the highest specs of android phone but at the end i still comes back to this phone somehow.

Thanks for pointing out, chaukeng.
Unfortunately, the WTS is closed. It had been sold. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3173791

Oh. Interesting. Where you manage to get the Yellow color casing? eBay?

Yup, agreed. The camera is the slowest. I am even disappointed that Lumia 1020 doesn't officially get Living Images. It was allowed for a short while under the Developer Preview. The Living Images was working fine with my Lumia 1020. No crash or anything, and I don't understand why they pull it from 1020 due to "performance" reason.

One of my friend recently got Z3 and he was excited to see me because I own 41MP Camera. He want to do a comparison. Z3 which just release not long ago, surprisingly still not able to beat Lumia 1020 - a 2 years old phone and already consider underpowered when it was first release. Before this, I did realize that I wouldn't find any other phone that I would fell in love again. And my friend's Z3 just reaffirmed that. Therefore, I am not planning to get the coming Lumia Flagship 940/950 or whatever it is called. I am willing to wait until 2016 or even early 2017 for 1020 successor.
Counting... Wow, I have 50-60 Live Tiles.
Not all are frequently used. I think the number of frequent Live Tiles I used daily is like about 10 only.

I am waiting for Windows 10 Mobile to officially release. Once that happen, I will keep my Live Tiles to the minimal. I kinda lazy to do now, and later a few months, sorting out again.

No luck. The cover was open for sales for quite some times. Anyway i got my cover from Taobao for around RM70+ including shipping and a few tools for diy purposes. Not sure if it is original as stated but the quality is good and everything just works and fits perfectly.

For some weird reasons, Sony phones in general have below par camera. Few years back when they first launched the Xperia X10 (still under sony ericsson that time), they boost about the use of a certain xmor R sensor for their camera but it in the end the picture quality turns out quite bad. Quite surprised until now its still like that.

Though, not really optimistic about a Lumia 1020 successor. It seems like the sales figures for L1020 is not convincing enough for Microsoft to redesign the camera from the ground up. (Nokia did that from PV808 to L1020).
The camera specs is overkill for mojority of the everyday user.
