Hi everybody...
can anyone here name a college or institute within KL that provides the Oracle (OCP DBA) course in a sufficient period ?
I found most are providing the Oracle course for 10 - 20 days !!! thoes institutes are making business nothing more..
they target database administrators, system engineers ...etc. for a fresh graduate, it's impossible to comprehend the classes...and finally become a DBA in 20 days !!!?
Moreover, i found that the price is extremely high (RM 8000 ++)...so what do u people think ?

10 to 20 days? Is it a part-time course or full-time course?

Anyways, Oracle has its own training centre at Menara Citibank, Jalan Ampang. Perhaps you can check out the place. If you're talking about Oracle courses using Oracle 10g and above, then i think it's expensive.

Hi there .. I'm a Oracle trainer fro most of the technical centre and colleges in Malaysia ..i do training both for the DBA and Developer track.. CUrrently they a lots of promotion going on ...Never Never do a oracle training from oracle university... They will charge you at least RM 4200 for just a five days.Other training centres you can do the training but the only thing is that you won't get the oracle printed Cert..you have another option like the other member said that you can do it at Binary college ...all College who teaches oracle ar under the WDP program ..Workforce development program..i will recomend you to do that ...it much cheaper ...but they won't run the rpogram in five day..normally 3 months...but it will cost you only RM1200 per module..You can do it any where you like it ...But try to get the certification from oracle university .. ya....my company just ask me to join this oracle 10g course...but only db admin part 1...so now still thinking of go or not go..cos they want to bond me for 1 yr~...thread starter..if u need the company/college which offer this course..u may pm me..not sure it's good to reveal here~
