Air con also helps. And if you need to, buy a fan and point it at the 360. In my room, I have a ceiling fan which is on at all times and when it gets hot I turn on my air con at full blast. Ventilation is key dude. If you still have problems, try suspending the power brick. If that doesn't work, than it might be faulty hardware

Better call this no. 425-635-7180 (international xbox support center). After they identified the problem, an empty box will be send to you. Send back your Xbox360 to the repair center.

Just give it a try. Tell them you get it from Singapore.

guess u've got the same problem as mine..
i suggest that u don't do what i did..
i send mine back to the shop i bought from..
they then send it back to hong kong for warranty..
cost me rm180 for shipping(but i think the shop makan a bit of my money)
took 3 weeks..
so u better follow the other solutions...
call microsoft..try to sending it to singapore...if can don't go thru shops...they'll makan money....

Try blowing a fan into it to ventilate and see if it is your fan

did any one open up the xbox360 and take a peek at the ventilation fan. is the fan 3/4 wire or 2 wire? and what type of fan izzit, ball bearing or brushed motor?

if the fan die prematurely, the xbox should have detected it..

solve my problem.
i mod the cooling fan to 12v instead of 5v.
and replace the original cooling fan too.
my xbox run more then 5 hours without any faulty and the temperature of box is not hot as last time anymore.
