Hello,
I always share my internet connection with my friend using virtual wifi.
But lately, they consume too much internet speed, making me unable to surf internet on my laptop.

My question, how can i limit their transfer rate?

If the wifi adapter is on your PC, pull out the adapter if they consume too much bandwidth, repeat the steps to annoy them so they will give up and get themselves a internet brows.gif
Okay seriously, virtual wifi has limited settings to control the bandwidth, what you need is a router with QOS function to control them http://blog.laptopmag.com/change-your-rout...settings-how-to
But not many router has this functions i think.

What kind of connection are you using? 3G/4G, ADLS or Unifi? sweat.gif
It's the only way to control the QOS by using router.
What virtual wifi can do is really limited unless you give it bogus DNS, then your friend will unable to surf LOL.
If you really need a router suggestion, you can go here https://forum.lowyat.net/NetworksandBroadband to ask Gurus there, i never played any kinds routers except those 3G routers sweat.gif
