i am cooling down myself as i cant go to sleep with all the negative thought. if anybody feels the same, here are some of the things you might consider to ease up.

1) no use putting the blame on the ref. they do make mistakes and there is nothing we can do on this matter. just think of it as luck or better, random number generator (for those who play MMO and related games) that determine your outcome from shit to gold.

2) we still have UCL. and i think we got quite a chance to progress to the final. even if we fail in the final, we can still attract big players considering our latest history in the competition. 7 semifinal in the last 11, and if we do progress to the final, it will be the 3rd in a row in european level competition.

3) the team really lack A clinical striker. this is the ONLY thing we are lacking. the only team domestically that we need to fear is still man city considering all the resource they got and the depth of their team. getting a clinical and good forward will be top priority for next season and if we got one, i really hope opponent will TREMBLE against us.

4) i know we are so close in this season PL run-in but just think this failure as a give to steven gerard if liverpool go on and win it. their team totally deserve it. SOME of their fans deserve it. i really hope they will win it because i fear some of them will go full retard if they slip-up in the last 4 games.

He just made a meal out of the situation, given that Azpi lost the ball, scrambling back...first response most people would think is he made that tackle to avoid a goal. Better don't complain too much, if not other supporters will said that we're blaming the ref when we lost a game.

Sorry guys,i'm not convinced this is purely a 'striker' problem,because i see some serious issues with the way we go about approaching games.Especially at decisive junctures of the season.

For instance,has anyone noticed we rarely play any one touch football when we're attacking?everything is sooooo slow and deliberate.as we get closer to the 18 yard box it gets even worse..players seem out of ideas and can only manage sideways passing in front of the opposition penalty box. If we're not counter-attacking,we just appear clueless.

Unless our next dream striker's name is messi / ronaldo, disciplined opponents will shave off a minimum of 2 points against us next season. There are other serious problems which cannot be solved by just throwing in a cavani or costa.
