for anyone that wonders why retail is cheap for these games, its mainly because they are all uplay versions, and uplay retail sells cheap across the world, in russia for instance, its only rm80, in asia its around rm100.

uplay sells it cheap because they want people to play it directly on uplay, not via origin or steam.

anyway, preload has finished, cant wait to unpack 2 days later

microtransaction in game

Look at the "unlock all points of interest in paris now"

anyway, optimization is not good, struggling below 30 fps.

for those looking to buy steam version, you can actually save it, because its like paying ubisoft a big chunk of money just to have an official non-steam game shortcut in Steam drm. All achievements and stuffs are only in uplay.

Well, isnt this something that always has been in AC for the past few games?

I hate it but it isnt too bad as you can find walkthrough to get the similar result.

Still, Ubisoft has gone pure evil with all these microtrasactions on a f**king single player game.

i haven't bought AC since AC3 which didnt have the microtransactions if i recalled correctly.

for now the crew and this that i bought have it all

I remember Black Flag has it. And The Crew going full on with microtrasactions. There are people claiming that you need to pay real money to use fast travel. doh.gif

in beta u can fast travel to locations that u have gone before, but not sure if they changed it in console beta.

if it needs money for those fast travel where u can pick a point in map that u travelled before, then its seriously bull

If the microtransactions is just to activate "cheats" like unlock every location than it's fine in fact better coz they really want u to enjoy the game not using shortcuts.

haha, i am not sure with those microtransactions but i will never look at them, just play the game and unlock it slowly.

so far i have enjoyed the game, graphics are good, at least i enjoyed the french atmosphere.

Apart from the occasional bugs, this game is actually very well made.

im playing at medium with 35 fps on gt650m, so far haven't come across any game breaking bugs but just tiny bugs.

All the side missions are interesting, im very into the one investigating murders, it allows you to study all clues and decide who to accuse, if you accuse wrongly the actual murderer will get away with it, and the innocent will be put into jail.

still a lot to play but thus far i enjoy it, hope they release patch faster to fix all the bugs and optimize it further
