I have recenly build up with S939 system and i think i maybe happy with it.

Unfortunely it make me felts troble for it when i want to OC.
I only can use back my default FSB and speed which is 1.83ghz and i cant go for more. Have 1 time i remeber i can go for 1.9ghz only, then its cant boot up and i have solve it by clear the Cmos.

My system is AMD WINCHESTER AHTLON 3000

Socket Socket 939

Mobo i am using Asus-A8R-MVP.
Ram is normal ram Apacer cl2.5
DRAM Type DDR-SDRAM
DRAM Size 512 MBytes
DRAM Frequency 200.5 MHz
FSB:DRAM CPU/9
CAS# Latency 2.5 clocks
RAS# to CAS# 4 clocks
RAS# Precharge 4 clocks
Cycle Time (TRAS) 8 clocks
Bank Cycle Time (TRC) 12 clocks
DRAM Idle Timer 16 clocks
Command Rate 1T
# of memory modules 1
Module 0 Apacer Technology DDR PC3200 - 512 MBytes

But i never OC my ram So far because i wonder its may bring affects to my performance when i am wrongly config with it.

i am using stok HSF and IDE load is 38c full load is 45c.

So can you help me to solve it?

You try to set your FSB to RAM speed to 1:1 ratio, since due to built in memory controller,as your ram only Apacer,it may look harder to OC.My friend use same processor with you and ABIT board and corsair ram,he manage to reach 2.4Ghz by only add little voltage, but he force to use 1:1 ratio and can't OC his ram,if not the case will be like you, can't OC at all.... smile.gif
