Hello guys, I need your suggestions.
I'm a Mass Communication student, I used to have HP Pavilion g4 series as my laptop.
Recently, my mom wants to buy Surface RT tablet as I want to bring something light and easier to carry around college.
But I was thinking, instead of buying Surface RT, I would like to change to Macbook.
I've done several research/survey online which Macbook models I should buy but I still can't make up my mind.

I want something where I can keep a lot of things inside (assignments, pictures, songs) but didn't lag,
I walk quite far from my car to college so I want a thin & light laptop, long last battery.

I need your help, which Macbook models should I buy?
You can explain to me in detail about the disadvantages/advantages of both models and suggest me which Macbook model should I buy smile.gif

depend on your budget also
based on your needs, i believe macbook air is enough to cater.
mba with 128gb, to keep pictures and songs i would say enough. Or, go for 256gb.

if you have more cash, head for retina macbook pro 13.
i would say both machines have speed and portability. so your final call base on your budget only.

If you have other things to buy, save money and get MacAir ( ssd memory ) which we have no regrets. Very light to carry, fast charging, wonderful touchpad and very fast. We keep most of our photos in external usb or drive. The macair still performs like on day one.

if space isnt enough, can always carry an external drive. or just buy a big microSD card n leave it in your MBA all the time heheh
