I'm having trouble increasing the rev limit on a Civic 2.0L (2005) with auto tranny,
piggyback is a GReddy E-manage Ultimate.

The goal is to increase the 6800 rev limit to 8500 rpm. Engine already modded to be able to
handle the revs...  just can't get pass the ECU limiter

Anyone done before on their car (doesn't matter the brand),
please share knowledge/info/etc...  notworthy.gif  icon_question.gif

I just found solution for you to bypass/remove RevLimiter.
I am a Unichip Q user on my GE8 Jazz...
Unichip is a Piggyback Brands which is same as Greddy E-manage but its have more features & on-going software update.
Recently looking for solution to increase my RevLimiter to and finally I found out the way to make it.
There's a unit call 'Intelligent i-Driver Module' by Unichip and its meant to be paired with Unichip Q Piggyback.
It has its own modern processor which will sync up with any Unichip Q series.
The unit will allows you to :

-Full factory injector control, ideal for aftermarket turbo vehicles running bigger injectors
-Drive extra injectors fully synchronized with the factory injectors
-Increase the on-time with easy one wire connections (no cutting)
-Increase the rev limit on vehicles where the factory ECU cuts the injector signals to control the rev limiter

Here is some of Prove of Review I just saw on Facebook of 'Gettuned' which is a famous Unichip Tuners based on Thailand

Here is some dyno prove video = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TGtZoXaorE

The real problem is I cant find seller in Here selling the 'Intelligent i-Driver Module'.
But I pretty sure my tuners Chai from AutoEnginuity based in Shah Alam can trigger with the module to be tuned on our car.

The solution that I can see to get the 'Intelligent i-Driver Module' is by getting in online.

Done?

My plan is to go for standalone ECU. That will surely work since not required to use factory ECU anymore.

Your bigger issue will be to get the standalone ECU to control the auto gearbox
Alternative way is to run standalone for fuel/ignition etc but other control leave it to stock ECU

Yes, that's the plan biggrin.gif

Auto gearbox PCM will still be factory ECU triggered.

Of course if doesn't work, then manual conversion. hmm.gif
