Gentlemen,if you like reliability get Carrier. If you still can find one even though the price is slightly higher, get it. It lasted for almost 20 years. It is still working though,only because it became noisy and repairman said no more parts so i changed. Carrier is crazily reliable. Googled the brand and it was them that invented aircond! And the space station used carrier! Btw i changed to Panasonic mid range ion 1hp model and it broke down exactly 1 week after the 1 year warranty! Repairman found the cooling coil leaked and require weldering. Cost me almost $300 to fix. Seems like even japanese brand is not trustable anymore.
