I'm not a Hisense user, but can contribute a few views on ionizers:

I use a Sharp Plasmacluster air filter/ionizer and it is very good. Recommend that you consider a stand-alone unit because you will have the option of using it to purify the air in rooms that are not being cooled.

Not all ion generators or ionizing aircons are created equal. Compare ion output rates and also the frequency and cost of replacing the ion emitters (they do wear out over time).
