I would like to know on reliability and performance of Fujiaire Air Conditioners ... Made in Malaysia, parts should be easier compared to Haier. Any user complaints ?

I am looking to get a new air conditioner after my Acson air conditioner stopped working a few days ago (it has lasted at least 8 years, maybe 10 years).

Anyway, I came across Sharp air conditioners and became interested in their Plasmacluster technology that purifies the air from airborne mold and viruses (good for those that have frequent common colds and flus). Then I found out that other air conditioner brands also have similar ion technology, whereby positive and negative ions are released into the air to destroy mold and viruses.

One brand that I am seriously considering is Hisense. Although this brand is from China, the price is significantly lower than other brands in the market. The 1 HP model with the ion technology is RM549 and after installation, one is looking at RM730 outlay.

Before I make the decision to buy this brand of air conditioner, I would like feedback from Hisense users. Is this brand reliable or does it give problems? And how long have you been using this air conditioner?

Your feedback is highly appreciated.

Thank you.

I thought Hisense bought Sharp already? so shouldn't be any problem right?

AFAIK Sharp products in Malaysia is covered by Hisense.
