Whether qualificaitons does matter depends on the job requirement. Honestly most jobs in Malaysia do not require a MAsters degree this is because a MAsters degree wil only add value when you are at a MAnagerial level. There is a wrong perception that MAsters degree at a entry level will get you higher pay. In fact with a flood of degree holders what makes you stand out is either higher qualifications, foreign degrees, experienc in MNCs and high levels of intellectual and interpersonal skills. Higher qualifications would definately help a person get a job but not higher pay. Higher pay will come in at a later stage. Just my 2 cents
