QUOTE(movanns @ Mar 20 2014, 09:01 AM) installed boeffla kernel on my slimkat stable build yesterday. one thing that I noticed, battery drain getting better. depends on which battery icon you use la.always want to ask this but forgot, is that normal on slimkat, when you turn off the phone, and plug in the cable to charge, the big battery icon will not indicate the level of charging? i use circle battery with percentage, it got show level of charging |

Saw a friends Hua Wei phone.
Thin slim and attractive. But feels so cheap once u look at the software. Horribly themed ui. Android 4.2 only. 2gb ram. Battery life is horrible. Only have 41% battery with 1hour 45 mins of screen on time. For comparison, after 1 hour 45 mins screen on time I still have 77% Battery life is very important. Heard he bought it for 1.2k. Very bad choice imo. |

QUOTE(boonseng @ Mar 24 2014, 10:52 PM) Ya I know, because my fingers short and not too used with slimpie.. Hmmn I still prefer navigation bar. just use only la. amoled eventually will have minor burn in.since kitkat nav bar is transparent, burn in is very much reduced. dont worry too much. you battery will die or you'll encounter sds issue before you get serious burn in |

What's going on with Facebook app.
I feel it's behaving really stupid. I scroll down reading news feed. Click a link. It opened up my browser. After reading and pressing back, it goes back to Facebook but it starts at the first post at news feed instead of where I last clicked the link. |

QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Mar 25 2014, 09:34 AM) carefull with latest note 3 4.4.2 update. isnt this already fix?really spoiled my mood. ur sd card become almost useless. u cant copy paste files into ur micr SDcard freely like other phone. and if u factory reset. it will fully wipe that 32GB internal memory. for me, bug/problem that already have a solution is not a problem/bug https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.sdfix |

i tried camera on samsung rom before, i dont really see the difference in quality. this dude here did an impressive comparison http://www.swedroid.se/forum/showthread.php?t=95071 its not in english, click the "Testet" to open spoiler, inside got many comparison. they look pretty much the same to me. using google translate, he say he use tripod and snap at the same time, so angle and lighting is the same. the best and professional comparison i've seen one sample: can you tell which is AOSP and which is touchwiz? http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/9009/im...30510135601.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IhcxZJw.jpg http://i.imgur.com/JNOK8TF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/763kzcD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/fdg2qHd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CLMdc4A.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7rtiZS5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WZKfBa5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6FaM8zU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/j4RpgYs.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RcwhWyi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vD3nZE6.jpg http://i.imgur.com/nNqrfcH.jpg http://i.imgur.com/B2WLfBj.jpg http://i.imgur.com/E2CcRFZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WaMnvKb.jpg http://i.imgur.com/R3Q2cvr.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kj3YPyf.jpg notice any BIG difference? can you even tell which is which? not sure you have 20/20 vision or what, but for me with normal vision, looks the same. |

QUOTE(nokia6280 @ Mar 27 2014, 09:27 AM) your hospital example is contradicted with fearing to fix phone.. user noobness is an funny issue. My thought is different, most Malaysian being spoon-feeded well with "nothing should failed" mentality and expected handful of assist around to safe them whenever they wanted to. Not that they are don't know how to fix but in the mind there isn't anything about self-help... i once had a friend who told me his phone rosak, going to samsung service center to fix i ask whats wrong he say no network no matter how many times reset. i go settings, mobile network settings, search for network, it says no sim detected. open phone back cover, saw simcard terbalik inserted. some people really sikit sikit go service center one...
