Same happen to my s3 last friday. Suddenly restart and then s3 logo keep blinking until the screen turned blank.
Sad thing is that didnt fully save all the files inside, e.g contacts or photos. All gone!

Maybe. Samsung Centre ppl also suspect due to motherboard problem.
Another thing is I heard that it is not encouraged to use power bank to charge phone. Wonder how true is that. Before this problem happen, I kept using power bank to charge s3 for quite some time.

yaya!! same issue here!! Stuck at S3 logo and blink blink. I was thinking to flash latest stock rom. so l did do nandoid and TB backup on sunday. but... but She just left me Like this = (
l didn't use power bank also. how much does Samsung quoted to you for the motherboard? which center you went?

Went Samsung 1U & mid valley. They said around RM600. In the end bought Note 3..
