stock based - look for stock rom that remove the bloatware only without any additional like S5 launcher/weather. i have try smartdroid, it is good but with note3/s5 launcher..it will slowdown your phone

stable kernel? - boefella for good. can customize using boefella config

Thanks for the reply bro. How about archidroid?

I'm doing this for a friend as he is so lazy to learn flashing shakehead.gif

How do I change screen density?

I just did it and it got stuck at the Samsung logo when booting up.

Xposed is the safest way. Changing build.prop is too troublesome

Changing build.prop is not troublesome

When I change from 320 to 240, I suspect there's something unable to load, my guess would be the launcher that didn't allow me to boot.
*
That is why I said it is too troublesome. It is system wide and not everything is multi dpi

Used Xposed, straight Touchwiz launcher died right away.

I'm giving up.

Xposed-->App Setting module-->find systemui.apk-->change-->reboot

touchpiss won't dieded it can still run, but the dpi is the same because it is not multidpi
