Appreciate the inputs guys!
Good to hear that DS4 will be fully utilized on launch. I had a pair of PS move before and I rarely use it cause it wasn't as responsive and immersive on the PS3. Btw, not sure if this was posted earlier. The official Sony VR bundles are already for pre order. https://store.sony.com.my/mainpage.aspx |

QUOTE(squall_12 @ Oct 6 2016, 12:34 AM) I called before and I was told that a shipping number will be provided upon the release of the VR on 13 Oct. Either way i'm fine a long as I receive it without issues. Btw, does the VR Camera bundle comes with the new PS4 camera model? |

Hey guys,
Anyone can vouch to Sony's online delivery? How fast is it? Since they will launch the PS VR on Thursday, I would assume the delivery will be on Friday or worse next week |

WTF?!?!?! so much for Day 1 release! For those who pre-ordered, I really doubt that they will commit to tomorrow's release date. Sony Malaysia is fast on taking orders and people's money but freaking damn slow to deliver.

Let's take this issue to Sony Head Office and tell them how incompetent their people are here in SEA. Killed the vibe by announcing the delay a day before the launch date. Bummer!

QUOTE(MattAces @ Oct 12 2016, 09:03 PM) Nope, it was confirmed. Now they are waiting for Sony Malaysia to announce it first, then other shop will follow. I just talk to Heavy-Arms. That is what i'm thinking too. The 21st could be the most that the delay can get but it could be available at an earlier time. We will never know. Delays really suck major b@!!$!The real question is will Malaysia really hold the stock for a week? |

Just saw the FB post. Playstation singled out Malaysia in the post. It explicitly mentioned "Malaysia" which means, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, HK and the rest of SEA are not affected by the delay? This is unacceptable! wahhhh!

Unforseen circumstances translates to Negligence and Incompetence. The post itself just made it worse. How come Malaysia is the only country that experience this delay?!?!?!

The fact that Playstation Asia singled out Malaysia as the only country to experience the delay is already a slap while other neighboring countries are already preparing with the launch.
Their "Unforseen Circumstances" is really unacceptable to be honest. It's the oldest trick in the book. |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Oct 13 2016, 01:32 AM) Maybe we can start a #hashtag going, unbox our PSVR and add #PSVRLaunchOneWeekLate. Round up the shame on them and tag Playstation Asia and Sony Malaysia on Facebook and Twitter. I'm down! I'm gonna troll that post of theirs once I get back from work. Gonna tag Shuhei Yoshida and Andrew House just so they know how shady their staff are in this side of the globe. |

Look at the supplies of other SEA countries. Saw a post in HK and Philippine Playstation FB group that some were able to walk in and buy over the counter.
How can Malaysia let this happen?!?!?! Someone should be accountable for this mess! The only thing they're fast at is getting people's money! Attached thumbnail(s) |

Tired of seeing that "Unforseen Circumstances" crap! that's the oldest excuse in the book! They can't even explain how severe what really happened in the first place. Of all ASEAN countries, Malaysia is the only one left out. HA! Well played Sony Malaysia!
I saw a post about a Pilot to planning to sue Sony Malaysia cause of their negligence. I hope it pushes through so heads will roll in their office! |

yo guys and for those who have Twitter, maybe we can raise this concern straight up to Andrew House and Shuhei Yoshida? I think this is an isolated case here in Malaysia. Playstation Asia was able to meet their deadline in other ASEAN countries except here. It's probably some government redtape or someone didn't get paid within their ranks.
Anyone knows someone from Customs to verify? |

QUOTE(WooTz @ Oct 13 2016, 11:01 PM) I've just picked up my PSVR at Sony Somerset Congrats Man! Staff mentioned they were overwhelmed with insane supply demand waiting list is loooooong. earliest walk-in stock is late November/early December get hyped!!! Did you ask if they have an idea why stocks are delayed in Malaysia? They should spill the beans on who didn't read the email or slept on the job with their Malaysian counterpart. |
