All VR newbie/naysayers should get down to the basement in RE7 demo with the VR headset on, be sure to record their pants shatting reaction.

I'm traumatized by this demo. Not sure whether I should even buy the game.....

December 8th?
Damn I deleted the demo already coz nothing special

It's the only way to play horror games in VR, flatscreen horror doesn't feel the same anymore. Not even close.

The atmosphere is truly creepy and there's plenty of P.T. resemblance with the added puzzles.

bossa studio employee already respond to the buyer says first to check on Monday when the employee get into office

Once you did the endings, completing the murder puzzle gets you a coin to import into the full game.

Be sure to explore on your own before checking out guides.

X-Wing mission has surprisingly plenty of friendly fire dialogues. That's interesting.

I enjoyed fooling around and flying near the thrusters of the star destroyer, awesome sound!

Werewolves Within is yet another enjoyable VR title, for those who love to talk that is.

Check out the livestream and see if it's suitable for you.

Great place to hone your game theory skills and laugh along the way.

Better off getting into a waiting list with Sony.

My gameshop said for waiting list people it's the week before Christmas maybe can get, most probably January....

Sony dropped the ball big time, this isn't iPhone mania.....

Had they advertise more on VR features I already got my unit at launch, godammit.

I purchased Perfect yesterday and I got to try it. It was a disappointment! WOW!
In terms of graphics, it reminds me of the graphical prowess of No Man's Sky. A lot of jaggies from far objects. I would tolerate it if I can at least I can walk and appreciate the view but NO! You can't do nothing at alllllll! The whole point of the game is to just appreciate the view but the graphics brahhh, they should've at least polished that! VR worlds graphics are way better! Better take all indie titles with a grain of salt next time.

Any way I can get my $8 back?
*
trust me, you'd want to check out /r/PSVR for game recommendations before you buy anything.

those people helped me out BIG time, especially warning about Perfect on the day of release itself.

After do some reading, know why our MY store so lame. Due to Sony Playstation Store policy, digital game MUST be language localization based on region in order to be able to publish. So our region must have chinese language.
*
It's the same deal with SG store.

I always buy VR stuff with my US/EU account now.

Tried bio hazard demo last night.

Turned on smooth camera and played it like normal FPS.

Surprised to get motion sickness after 10mins.

Until the extent i really feel like throwing up only I stopped.

Been playing FPS without any problem my whole life. This really needs getting used to.
*
You're been playing flatscreen your whole life.

VR is an entirely different beast, you should use pie chart controls until you're comfortable with smooth setting.

Indeed, with a proper video setup you can record your family's wonderful reactions for long lasting memories.

all VR motion sickness can be overcome with gradual exposure, just play 10 mins each day and see got improvement or not.

then only sell.

the sickness feeling is exactly like play the spinning cup at theme park, and it cant go away even i sleep 8 full hour  cry.gif

it makes me having phobia on touching the vr again
re7 is the reason i bought vr initially.

i had try the beginning hour demo, but even walking at slow pace make me sick, in less than 5 min rclxub.gif

Take ginger supplements, chew a gum, have a fan blowing towards you when you're in VR, don't move your head when tilting the camera.

First 5 minutes is always the worst, your brain is thinking that you got poisoned in VR and try to make you puke, you show your brain who's boss.

When you do that, your head is in a new left/right position while your VR perspective is centered.

That's very disorienting wouldn't it?

Motion sickness is a protective action of the body triggered by the mind and you can train yourself to stop getting motion sickness.  It occurs when your brain knows your body is still but its is perceiving movement as if it were not still.  Your body has evolved to think that this is a hallucination brought on by poison and thus the sickness to detoxify your body.  If this were actually poison you would not be able to pull the headset off to stop the sickness short of full blown vomiting and in such a case the body has done its job.  That is why when car sick you are told to concentrate on a fixed point.  Since the fixed point is not moving it stops the message to the brain (that basically says I am not moving but i am seeing things as if i were so i must be hallucinating) that induces the sickness.  There are many who get sick from first person games for the same reason.  A third person games allows the user to focus on the character as a type of fixed point, and even though your character moves, the brain slowly realizes all is ok.  But remove the character and your brain is thrust into to seeing everything as happening around you and that causes many people problems also.  There are some good sites on how to train yourself to play vr without getting sick. I have followed them and they have worked wonders.  When I started very vr game made me sick, now nothing does.  All of that said, it is hard to say (even though many sites try) which games do not cause discomfort beyond what the majority experience because there are some who will feel no sickness with any game but the one you feel is most comfortable.

You need more time to adjust, at least give RE7 a try before you sell it.

I just had the most mindblowing RE7 experience last night.

The rush of running away while hearing enemies chasing close to you, stalking and peeking at your predator at corners. It simply wouldn't be the same on flatscreen games.

You can minimize the impact of jump scares by reducing the sound effects volume. It's really a fantastic game to showcase the potential of VR.

Applies to sudden and random background noise around you. That's the worst part for me.

So, anyone completed RE7 in VR already?

I haven't completed the game yet, just got 'outside' the house, looking for 'mama'.  sweat.gif But, this is hands down, the BEST PSVR experience so far.

The ability to physically lean and look around corners to hide or search for enemies is at a whole new level. Immersion is impressive.
I'm using Smooth turning with speed increased to 8. Totally zero sickness and the movement is very fluid.
Seriously, those playing this on normal 2D. just stoppppp. Off your PS4 and go get a PSVR, then only resume.  devil.gif

We should seriously have gaming advisory that strongly suggest playing VR first, there's no comparison whatsoever.

4K quality simply can't beat total immersion of being chased down and constant paranoia.
