no.
so far with everything the Playstation 4 can use, the Pro is just a recommended purchase at best, not a compulsory one.

the way i see it, it's a piece of electronic..1st gen, 2nd gen, hell can be last gen.. the thing will still have a possibility of crapping out for apparently no reason, out of the blue.

so rather than wait and wait and wait, just opt to get it now and enjoy.

the aim controller is 40 dollars on its own?
this device doesn't seem to be detachable..everything seems built in.
move+navigation integrated into the unit.
