Omg im jealous that u can play with smooth movement T_T. i'll get dizzy in 1 minutes if i use that. On pie chart movement thought, 0 motion sickness. But it is sooo awkward to run using pie chart movement, and running is sooo important. The feeling of someone behind u chasing is something u wont get on 2D!
Must take time and train, give it 5 minutes then switch back, next day try 15 mins and so on.
I also will get sick if I don't get back into VR frequently enough.
Just got mine today with camera bundle. How do you guys take care of the headset? I'm sure you're bound to get some sweaty friends playing with it when they come over. Last thing I want is a smelly headset with non replacable parts.
The light shield is removable, be sure to wash it once you start smelling sweat on it.
And you should get some screen protector if you got people who wear glasses, it'll get scratched easily.
Correct. We might one some form of sight seeing in VR for the RPG, but playing through the whole game would be nausea inducing, not to mention very tiring.
I've had multiple 5 hour sessions over my weekends, and the breaks are mainly for IRL issues like food, toilet and dating.
Nausea and tiredness won't be an issue once people adapt to VR.
I understand. That is why you want the experience of role-playing in an RPG game while being immersed in VR. I believe the niche is there, only is it enough to convince developers to try it. In my opinion, Bethesda should be one of the devs that have their hands with this since their action-RPG games are already available in First-Person perspective mode.
Third person perspective also works well, Robot Rescue and Bound have shown its potential.
We just need the first MMO devs to port it over to PSVR, please let it be FFXIV.

I loaded up a few games on PS VR again after a long break and I got woozy after playing a while. I guess VR legs is a thing you can lose if you don't keep up with it.
Willl have to build up the immunity again to prepare for Farpoint. The game has full locomotion right?
Yes it does, be sure to switch on smooth turning at 11 speed.
