Omg im jealous that u can play with smooth movement T_T. i'll get dizzy in 1 minutes if i use that. On pie chart movement thought, 0 motion sickness. But it is sooo awkward to run using pie chart movement, and running is sooo important. The feeling of someone behind u chasing is something u wont get on 2D!
*
Must take time and train, give it 5 minutes then switch back, next day try 15 mins and so on.

I also will get sick if I don't get back into VR frequently enough.

Hi Bros. How much better is PSVR on the pro compared to the old ps4? Percentage wise?
*
Now that we know 4.5 brings boost mode to all PS4 games with significant FPS stability/gains, there's no reason to buy the OG console anymore.

With that said, it's noticeably better in RE7 and other games like bound, and it's 90FPS Miku on pro compared to 60FPS on OG PS4.

how come i didn't see anyone sell 2nd hand game for PSVR?
*
Because most of my games are digitally purchased from US/EU stores. Asian stores still suck to this day.

The game shop selection are pathetic to be honest.

Just got mine today with camera bundle. How do you guys take care of the headset? I'm sure you're bound to get some sweaty friends playing with it when they come over. Last thing I want is a smelly headset with non replacable parts.
*
The light shield is removable, be sure to wash it once you start smelling sweat on it.

And you should get some screen protector if you got people who wear glasses, it'll get scratched easily.

any issue if no 4KTV and playing non VR game with PS 4 pro on normal TV?
*
Better framerates, supersampling and antialiasing for both VR and non VR games. Which is a big deal in hectic gameplay.

I'm excited for newer games like mass effect which will fully take advantage of the pro.

There's isn't any downside playing on the pro as far as I can tell.

I plan to gef ps vr but not ps4 pro.. would it be a waste?
Is ps4 pro a must?
*
Yes if you plan to future proof your PSVR purchase.

Having a pro isn't a waste at all, it's essential for VR.

I'm hearing lots of great stuff from the Joshua Bell VR experience.

Can't wait to give it a try later tonight, along with RE7 second DLC.

Correct. We might one some form of sight seeing in VR for the RPG, but playing through the whole game would be nausea inducing, not to mention very tiring.
*
I've had multiple 5 hour sessions over my weekends, and the breaks are mainly for IRL issues like food, toilet and dating.

Nausea and tiredness won't be an issue once people adapt to VR.

I understand. That is why you want the experience of role-playing in an RPG game while being immersed in VR. I believe the niche is there, only is it enough to convince developers to try it. In my opinion, Bethesda should be one of the devs that have their hands with this since their action-RPG games are already available in First-Person perspective mode.
*
Third person perspective also works well, Robot Rescue and Bound have shown its potential.

We just need the first MMO devs to port it over to PSVR, please let it be FFXIV.

What's your settings for littlstar 1.7 VR videos?

Didn't have time to test yet, most of them said 4K and above had issues with playback.

*
Yes, just do a simple registration and you can side load sbs videos with USB drives.

Tried a $1 video from badoinkVR, wow this is mindblowingly good.

Just had my first hour experience with Farpoint and AIM controller.

Wow, this game isn't for someone who hates spiders! Very immersive, on par with Resident Evil 7.

I love the gun! The weight is just right and buttons are well placed. Nice ergonomic feel.

Can't wait for more VR FPS support

I loaded up a few games on PS VR again after a long break and I got woozy after playing a while. I guess VR legs is a thing you can lose if you don't keep up with it.

Willl have to build up the immunity again to prepare for Farpoint. The game has full locomotion right?
*
Yes it does, be sure to switch on smooth turning at 11 speed.

Farpoint may be a bit on the short side, 5-6 hours campaign.

But damn the co-op can be very addictive, you can see what the other guy is gesturing and there's voice chat.

My first few matches was a total blast, always stick together and survivors keep moving!

Shame it only has 2 player co-op.

Pro-tip, since there's no reticle to highlight your partner and friendly fire is a thing, try organize a pvp in an open area after clearing the area.
