yes, it is now the good for airlines 20 percent rebate. many people didnt know that they do it. then you must apply at rakuten which is http://www.rakuten.com.my/event/cimb/apply...nner_cimb-apply

rm200 rebate will be given for application approve and 20 percent rebate + 5 percent online rebate for rakuten purchase. more detail u should refer to FAQ, not the term and condition http://www.cimbbank.com.my/creditcard/atta...mber%202014.pdf

must read the FAQ until the end of pages. more offer for online transition and airlines(MAS, not airasia since airasia charge extra for credit card payment).

i read the term & condition, but never saw it gave rm200 for application approve? are you sure it is correct?

Usually, GST is charged on the approval date itself. You may try but i highly doubt you will be successful.

this zing card can be called a failure for cimb cc. all that money and effort wasted!

becos 9/10 people they issue to don't want it.

this is the way it works:

.. the project calls for every card member to be given a zing foc, they dish it out regardless u want or not
.. it needs activation at a toll both
.. if nothing specified, the first activation will transfer rm100 from cc to this zing
.. if u do not activate it, it will not be active but is not dead
.. to kill it, u need to call them, no charges
.. not activating and not killing it runs the risk of losing the zing for somebody to use it until u realise it
*
i'm worried that it will automatically activated and reload rm100 to zing tng card.
now seem like no need to worry. just need to cancel it before activation.
if like that i will proceed to apply the card.

i already register contact yesterday but still no one call me. mad.gif

There is no value in the card? Coz I c the declaration stated stating there will be complimentary Zing Card come with automatic reload amount of RM100.
Can we cancel the zing card after that if no activate? No charge for cancellation?

i think worth to apply. even refund -rm5 we still earn rm95.

want to ask how is the cash back calculation for CIMB cash rebate card

my case:
I have spend rm600 on online purchase on 30 March.

1) if posting date is on 31 March, do the rm30 rebate counted as cash rebate of March?
2) if posting date is on 1 Apr, do the rm30 rebate counted as cash rebate of Apr?

it looked like different cash back calculation method compare to maybank AMEX card.

thanks

From my experience, CIMB CC have fixed statement date on 28th every month. The cashback is calculated on 27th every month. So for the RM30 cashback to be credited on the same month, the transaction have to be POSTED before 27th.  tongue.gif

ya i know this.
my problem is i have swipe rm600 online on 7 March which have fully used the quota.

so now I need to swipe rm600 again.
but i'm not sure can I swipe after 28 March to get anotehr 5% rebate?
or I need to swipe it on 31 March or 1 Aprl? (1 Apr will have 6% GST rclxub.gif )...
