Just received my e-statement for Cash Rebate Plat:

Pleased to know that my online hotel booking (RM182) through www.orbitz.com was given 5% rebate. I booked using this website coz it is cheaper than the popular online hotel booking sites.

Payment on lelong.com.my (netpay) also entitled for 5% rebate.

not getting it after >90 days, after called CS, they say they have overlooked it.
soon i got back my Welcome bonus.

My anniversary is getting near. RM50 gst waive by spending RM200 is quite reasonable to me ...

my spending with this card is RM100/month (majority for e-commerce), my main card is still MBB2 Card Amex.

Luckily CIMB Cash Rebate annual fee is free for life, else i won't consider holding on to this card at all.

oopps. Just received my online statement with RM50 GST charged.

Am i still able to request for waiver ???

If not still can cancel this card without paying the gst? Just one year using it...

Please help...

very less coz my main card is mbb2.
around RM100 or less per month.
mostly for groupons , livingsocial etc.

Initially I called to cancel it (before gst was charged), then they offer me and I accepted.

happened to me before. after call, only i get it.
