i just activated my CIMB rebate card and CIMB gold card by 3/8/2014, today i received statement letter asking me to pay RM50/each card for government tax, is it normal ? why charge tax so early ?

can i call centre to waive this charges ? pls advice

for GST issue, i was told by CIMB bank customer service it will be waived automatically when u make 3 transactions
in 30 days
