Hello, Unauthorized Charges"

AT 2am 19 April i receive phone msg from CIMB(i have CIMB Direct access Platinum) that i bought a Holiday tour, my cards charge by ORBITZ.com $USD 964.85 and RAKUTEN PRICEMIN amount of Euro $21.75 total this Illegal/unauthorized charge cost my CC RM4K++ so i do what natural ppl receive a illegal charge 2am wake up sweating panic call Cimb/direct access i did not authorize the charge, i did not made the purchase... so OP inform me the charge is denied/ my CC is cancel new cards is on the way... so i gone back to sleep and next morning i call again CC service center i ask .. i was shock i been charge minus my current cc balance... :shock... they say i need to write letter inform cimb to file a Dispute towards the charge... i am upset.. but i wrote letter / send them EMAIL they inform me dispute take 45days to be resolve... and is under investigation... xxx

My question.. have any one Experience this ? on CIMB CC... what the outcome as i am worried!!! RM4K+ is almost 80% my monthly pay xx please ADVISE! opinion... xx thank you...

that's rm10 but thursday is buy 1 free 1. lol...

for thursday buy 1 free 1 can buy earlier and just enjoy on thursday. maybe one of the days you go watch once first and then purchase another buy 1 free 1 tickets for thursday viewing. lol...

my application rejected..i start working february 2015.then got payslip 3 months.and maybank only updated my statement 2 months in pdf.april not included..then yesterday morning she call me to ask my hr number..so i give her..then around 11 oclock i got message " RM0.00 We regret to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful. Thank you for your kind interest".
i dont have any loan.i dont have car or anything.i try updated my epf dont update from feb 2015 until now.so because of this not updated or what..please advice

Apparently ur record is too clean, and just 3 months working exp, which still in risk to hold cc according to bank...
Or u can try apply other bank cc first such as uob bank.

If no mistaken, with HLB GSC card, you can get buy 1 free 1 on everyday via online, provided the transaction is need to be done on Thursday

I'm waiting for transaction week start 23 March

My Cash Rebate Plat is approved and has been sent out. Let's see when I go back to office on Monday.

I didn't notice on the Swipe and Win Campaign till CIMB sent me the physical card on 24 april.

I never receive any SMS notification also

I activated my card using SMS. Right after that, SMS about the campaign came.

eh.. right.. ANY story on unauthorized Charges" ?? and how long it take solve a Dispute towards charge on CIMB DirectAccess ? ? unauthorized charge amount to RM4K+... any similar story ?? thx...

Don't worry the promotion is still on-going until 31st May.

Checked my CL from CIMB Clicks and I got close to 4x of my monthly salary. If to calculate based on ratio, CIMB is the most generous among my other cards. The rest only gave around 2.5x or 3x.

Only allows max rm200 CB per card product.

That's normal because your record is too clean, the bank is not sure whether you would be a good borrower or not. When I first applied for credit card, one year after working, way back in 2012, what a ridiculous experience it was. I applied for CIMB, OCBC and Citibank. All were rejected. CIMB was completely bonkers as my salary was credited into CIMB. My pay was above RM36k per year back then also. And I only applied for the most basic card.

After countless of rejection, I went to Bank Islam. Thankfully, it was approved.

Not long after that, all other card applications were swiftly approved.
