Since when CIMB change the online transaction rebate to max cap RM30 only?

So dissapointing

apply online. RM150 cash back upon 3 swipes in 60 days.

Yours is for which transaction? I haven't gotten for my GSC, again not sure if purchase the discounted ticket can get the additional cashback or not.

tifosi i checked again actually i received the additional rebate on 1 Aug which I believe is from July statement as for Aug i didn't have any transactions which gives the additional rebate

yeah this is true i think i already send to CRU 3 times and BNM twice to get the rebates, hope I get my online rebates soon otherwise it's off to BNM again

Same here, usually it will be updated on the 1st of each month, but I don't find it. Spent around Rm1240 for MAS flight tickets in middle of August.

Still maximum rebate for additional cash rebate is RM50 only right?

Last time I check in this thread it was decreased to Rm30

Still haven't received additional cash rebate for my airasia august transaction. Already called the cs (they confirmed mcc code for my airasia transaction is correct) but they ask me to wait until the next statement for the rebate. So weird. It should be posted in cimbclicks by now.

i complained thru cimb clicks, and finally they credited my rm30 additional rebate yesterday..
though they didn't bother to send me acknowledgement..

Just got my additional cash rebate too, it has been capped to Rm30 now

1. what is exactly "10% cash rebates on finance charges"?i keep reading their FAQ but still cannot understand. haha
2. Maximum cash rebates we can earn is RM50.00 no matter how much we spend?

it means they give u a 10% rebate when u owe them money on your cc but is stupid no one does that anyway as that amount will keep on ballooning

ya max cash back is rm50 however for online transaction of 5% rebate u can get a max of rm30 the other rm20 is for 2% petrol/groceries/mobile & utilities autodebit and 0.2% for other categories

Feel so disappointed with the rm30 cap for online transaction 5% rebate..
Basically my cimb cash rebate platinum is useless after rm600 spent..
It's time to look for other card..
