Hey guys. I'm getting my first mechanical keyboard and I'm confused with all the choices there are. Can anyone recommend me a mechanical keyboard with cherry mx blue, and preferably with nice backlight effects under the budget of about RM3xx. Thanks a bunch! PS. Is the logitech g710+ a good buy for RM300?

QUOTE(skye @ Apr 5 2014, 01:52 PM) Logitech G710+ is good, but it only got mx brown QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Apr 5 2014, 02:01 PM) Thanks for the recommendation guys. How greatly do the browns differ from the blues. I personally like the feel I get when typing on blues, though it is quite noisy. If the feel is similar, I might get the logitech!

QUOTE(dadudeneverabides @ Apr 5 2014, 02:46 PM) Feels different. Blues more resistance and the tactile also more bump. Noise is obvious. Dang. Then I'll keep my eyes on blues then. Thanks man. QUOTE(yuktsi14 @ Apr 5 2014, 02:55 PM) any particular reason why you prefer logitech so much? Not that I prefer logitech, it's just that I could get it cheaper than most high end mechanical keyboards. Though, not really sure if I'm making the right decision.

Hey guys. So I just bought the Ducky Shine 3, but unfortunately it came with defected LEDs so bringing it back to the shop tomorrow. Wondering if I should get a refund or just get it exchanged to another Shine 3. Though I like the LED effects at first, I find it to be quite useless when I'm typing since I won't even look at my keyboard. Are there any other particular reasons to stick to the Ducky besides the LED effects that I'm missing out ? I'm currently eyeing on the Corsair K70, but I'm not sure whether it's durability is on par with the Ducky Shine 3. Do enlighten me thanks!

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Apr 14 2014, 07:12 PM) If you don't really needs LED then just get Filco. Ducky non-LED could be cheaper than Filco counterpart, but most people will recommend Filco due to its solid and build quality. I need LEDs. Just that I don't need too many LED effects. Haha. Filco keyboards do make great mechanical keyboards, too bad they don't have illuminated ones. What's your take on k70 vs Shine 3?
