when you start thinking that it needs cleaning, then it's true, so clean them

keycaps? if you want an easy way, get polident or denture tabs.
put keycaps into a basin and put 1 or 2 tabs inside, depending on how slimy and greasy your caps is, after that fill water until the water level just covers all the keycaps, you don't want more.
water temp should be room temperature or just slightly warm a bit, too hot might risk deforming the keycaps.
leave them for 30 minutes, drain and rinse, leave it to dry and u're done.

features like changing keyboard layout can be done from windows itself.
although it's not on the fly, but for me, i just couldn't justify the extra amount to pay just for that feature.

programmable backlight led, i'd get a ducky shine 3 that is about RM300 cheaper (considering shipping cost USD$56 for non-tracking shipping, $70 for tracking)

hence existing pcb can't run rgb led

the new corsair pcb redesigned for rgb smd led.

whereas i think the china's pcb is using through hole rgb led.

there's one dude in GH is designing one pcb for rgb led also...using 4 pins as well IINM
