Means if u do the soldering work u maybe know u get cheap qualitt led or uses too high temp.

my led is not as bright because it is square head one.
ur default is round headed right

If you want a backlit keyboard why would you consider wasd?

Possible to mod led holes for every switch - only if you think the effort wasted is worth
neither filco got led holes.

before you waste the effort,

Better just consider a custom keyboard, A87 pcb with acrylic casing.

Why?
Much more flexibility in customizing.
PCB dead just swap PCB.
Dont like you casing? Just re-do in any color you like.
