All the stuffs recommended here need to buy online? And is there any risk of custom building (need of skill)?
Is planning to buy alienware x51 gtx760ti or custom build a gaming+performance pc not more than rm4000 (needless to recommend, cuz minecrafter suggested the rig a month ago) -------------------- CPU:Intel Xeon E3 1230 V3 3.3GHz RM799 Mobo:Asrock B85M-Pro4 RM279 GPU:Sapphire R9 280X Toxic 3GB GDDR5 RM1299 RAM:Corsair 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz RM478 HDD:WD Caviar Blue 1TB RM189 PSU:Seasonic S12II 80+ Bronze 620W RM299 Casing:Corsair Carbide 200R RM229 ODD:Liteon 24x DVDRW RM59 SSD:Plextor M5S 128GB RM289 Total:RM3920 This post has been edited by lolzcalvin: May 1 2014, 03:00 PM |

QUOTE(Zgames @ May 1 2014, 03:01 PM) You can go to LYP Viewnet. If you want to buy online there's Dotatech aka Lingloong, IdealTech aka zhen^whei, Feiton, GTech aka Hikari85 and GBros. Feiton,Dotatech,GTech [ In Penang I think Well becuase I'm not planning to buy them online actually, so I wonder if there are any retail shops in KL or any place (like lowyat) will largely sell the accessories and equipment. |

QUOTE(TheHitman47 @ May 1 2014, 08:32 PM) i believe the rig spec minecrafter give u are mostly from lowyat. I see, thanks for the infos. I have never build a pc before so things about installing PSU and GPU I am not very clear. Well currently planning to buy full-supplied alienware cpu first instead of custom build one, next time I'll try to build it myself (gonna buy gtx titan lel)except gpu or casing he sometimes suggest from garage sales. so u can buy from lowyat, and assemble yourself or they assemble it for u. like human10 said, be careful with ESD and if anything just use the guide book that comes with the hardware for help. its all there. Alienware X51 GTX760Ti |

QUOTE(Zgames @ May 2 2014, 04:36 PM) I heard that the Tri-X has some cooling issues to it. That's why suggesting the MSI Gaming one. Oh and yea the GB one also seems good. lolzcalvin you might want to reconsider the Gigabyte R9 290 OC as it's the same price as the MSI one. Will try to reconsidering building a pc at LYP thengigabyte max OC how many? |

QUOTE(rav3n82 @ May 2 2014, 05:15 PM) lolzcalvin What you mean by max possible overclock settings? The Gigabyte card does come factory overclock at 1040 MHz (stock is 947 MHz), so you should get a very small performance boost from that. Want to go further? You have to manually overclock it yourself then. Can you suggest a rig not over RM4000 including R9 290? I'm comparing between minecrafter's, zgames and your recommendation.Anyhow, I have tested AC4 on the R9 290 before. Buttery smooth, no issues at all. |

Any monitor which is suitable for gaming and all-day computing? As cheap as possible. As long as eye won't pain too soon.
