Thanks! Does anyone know if anyone sells the Gainward GTX770 Phantom at LYPlaza itself? A search showed that IPmart sells it for RM1152 with 1 year warranty, but I plan to go to LYP and get it all sorted out in one place/one shot, so any help in this regards would be appreciated.

Also, how big a monitor should I get, with the GTX770? I was thinking of getting a 21.5" screen...

GTX770 is capable to play highest setting at 1080p, even 1440p.

Hi guys, which psu is more reliable and more value in terms of pricing?

1. FSP Aurum 80+ Gold 650W (M) -RM359
2. FSP Raider S650 - RM269
3. Seasonic M620 (M) - RM359

Prices from IDealTech (garage sales)

Prefer psu with modular... sweat.gif

Can anyone suggest a good monitor for 1080p gaming? Probably gonna get a 770.. or r280x.. can't decide >.>
*
GTX770 and R9 280X is actually on par.

What's your budget for 1080p monitor ?

Dell U2414H is pretty good, RM840 at garage sales.

Guys, does GTX670 is still a good buy compare to the newer generation 7xx series?
*
GTX670 is slight faster than GTX760.

If GTX670 is cheaper than GTX760, is a good buy.

Hmm... I noticed quite a few people suggest the 770 over the r280x. Is there any particular reason? I'm rather on the fence since I hear the r280x is great for 1400p gaming but then again, this is KINDA future-proofing since I'm barely affording to game at 1080p.

There's also the indecisiveness of deciding to OC or not. >.>

It is hard to argue which one is better. Both card's performance are equal.

GTX770 > G-Sync, Frequent driver updates, PhysX
R9 280X > Mantle, Bitcoin mining, cheaper?

If it's gold 80+ then yes. My pick would be a Seasonic S Gold 750w RM 479.
*
What makes Gold 80+ is better than other such as Bronze 80+, other than the efficiency ?

They are both still deliver 750W.

Hey guys, I was recommended with this build.

i3-4130
Asrock H81M-DGS
Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
FSP Hexa 500W
Palit GTX750 StormX OC 1GB GDDR5
If i wanna switch the i3 to i5-4440, do I need to change any of the other parts?
*
Nope.

This this build mainly for gaming, I rather change the GPU to PALIT GTX 750 Ti StormX OC 2GB.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not mainly building it for gaming, I will be doing a bit of video rendering/photo editing. So, i5 will be a better option than changing the GPU to GTX750 Ti right?
*
Yup, changing i5 would be better.
