Hi fellas, i need help and suggestions from u guys on building my very first rig pls imma noob. Im quite a gamer not the hardcore ones, current laptop (dell studio 15) is getting old and very lag while playing modern games and even dota2. Did some research and came out with the specs below. Any improvement or cheaper component to change, mobo with wifi or external wifi card better?

Budget around 2k+-

- amd fx6300 / amd athlon x4 750k 459
- msi 970A-g43 279
- radeon hd7790 389
- kingston value ram DDR3 1600mhzs 4gb 129
- WD 1TB Blue 185
- CM GX2 550w 279
- CM N200 M-ATX CASING 179
- aoc E2060 monitor 265

The prices are only for a rough calculation may not accurate tho.
Will the spec be able to play on high mix ultra setting in 1080p / 20 inch mon?
Thanks in advance.

For 2k go for an i3 build.

Proc - i3-4130 RM 369
Mobo - Asrock H81M-DHS RM 179
GPU - GTX 750 Ti Palit StormX Dual RM 560
PSU - FSP Hexa 500w RM 150
HDD - 1TB WD Blue RM 189
RAM - 4GB Value RAM RM 129
Casing - CM K280 RM 129
Monitor - AOC E2060 RM 265

RM 1970, prices from Viewnet except GPU from GBros in the forum here. This 750 Ti is one of the best currently at cheap and use low power consumption. Can play most game on a mix of high + ultra on 1080p easily with FXAA tho sweat.gif

FX6350 have 6 Cores,the Core i5 4440 have 4 Cores and 4 Threads.
Even though the FX6350 has more cores,it only beats the i3 4130 by just .01.. tongue.gif
i3 4130 vs FX6350 http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/356/AMD_F...i3_i3-4130.html

i5 4440 vs FX6350 http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/364/AMD_F...i5_i5-4440.html

Plus,Intel CPUs have lower power consumption.. :nod
Let's say,if you're going to get AMD FX8320 and MSI 970A-G43 motherboard,it's gonna be a bad decision.Since AMD FX8320 is a power hungry CPU,you need a Mobo with good VRM cooling(Is that how do you say it? unsure.gif ),if you use the MSI 970A-G43 mobo with AMD FX8320,it'll throttle the CPU.. sweat.gif It's better to get a Mobo with 8 or 8+2 VRM phase counts if u're gonna use AMD FX8xxx series and above. wink.gif

Here's more info about AMD CPUs motherboard VRM. wink.gif http://www.overclock.net/t/946407/amd-moth...m-info-database

Is FSP Hexa 500w PSU trusted? Got Certificate?
Sorry me noob, but i3 can game? Will it bottleneck the graphix card? I choose all AMD i tot they are cheaper and more cores so worth the price since a budget build.
GTX 750ti is nice but how about HD 7850? RM35 cheaper drool.gif

Yes FSP Hexa 500w is a good and reliable PSU, it has the 80+ Bronze. i3 is more than enough to game. A game doesn't utilizes more than 2 cores #fact. Except games that's mostly the rpg genre which is skyrim etc etc. No it won't bottleneck with the 750Ti. And as per mention by Minecrafter Intel has uses less power than AMD processors.

About 750 Ti vs HD 7850. Here's the performance.

Hmmm Corsair, Seasonic and FSP are good brands.
Value by money is either Seasonic or FSP.
Corsair is by quality, if you read their review on PSU are great. If want to know more visit here to see what kind of psu is bad

So 650w right? Hmmm budget please?

The Corsair CX series I think is obsolete now. If you are budget oriented, I would buy a CoolerMaster PSU today, if you are quality oriented, then Seasonic is the best in my opinion.
