Hmmm, I think a single card is easier to maintain rather than SLI/CF cards. +SLI/CF is power hungry and also the heat that I heard.

Thanks Z, just a quick question, would there be any problem with the rig if I plan on making it dual or triple monitor?

GTX 680 SLI and 690 is on par with each other. Best get a single one as they're easy to handle and not much heat output hmm.gif

Dual monitor can. 3 Monitor if you're not gaming on it. Because higher VRAM is needed for larger resolution. That means more monitor whistling.gif

On par on benchmarks, but two different 680s overclock and scale much much better than a single 690.

Get two nice non reference models and you're good to rip games to shreds.

However, speaking if which, for the same price bracket it's better you just get a single non reference 780Ti and work from there.

Hi, i'm planning to buy whole cpu set without monitor, can anyone suggest me which parts should i choose ?

Budget probably around 2.5-3K.

Not for gaming, only for running few apps simultaneously 24x7, web surfing, watching movie etc.

The new set must be able to support 3 old monitors. Not sure if one graphic card is sufficient. Please help.

Thanks
