Hi guys, i dont know if this can be posted here. but can anyone direct me to sellers who are selling GaoGao/TT Hongli/Daban Gundams? First time buying it. can i know where to get some?

can anyone guide me where can i get this action stand prefer around klang valley..

i have 2 kit coming B.blue frame/astray noir....can't afford the B.PG red...might get the daban ver ...to try weathering and battle damage...that wont beat up alot...

Compulsory:

1. Plastic cutter (normal one cost RM4-RM7)
2. Modeling knife (can get for RM5 at Daiso)
3. Tweezers (RM2)

Essential:

1. Filer, or medium and high grit sandpaper
2. Panel liner (RM10+)
3. Oil-based marker (RM4-RM6 each), or metallic sharpie (RM4) but only limited to gold, silver and bronze.
4. Clear topcoat (normal clear coat as low as RM6, hobby grade clear coat around RM40-RM50)

for me normal top coat "rough" need to apply carefully.. and hobby grade more "smooth"

it's not difference of grades lol
it's just difference of normal hardware stores spraycans and hobby brands
hobby brands topcoat only 86ml or 170ml, and that's rm30-40 per can
while those normal spraycans topcoat as cheap as rm7 a can of 500ml
that applies for gloss
if you want semi-gloss or matte/flat then it's the same
but if buy high quality 'normal' gloss topcoat like Krylon brand at rm30-50 a can of 500ml, it produce same result as hobby brands, but more value for money

Not exactly. 'Rough' texture can be because of different factors, like the quality of the paint, the weather (humidity) or the way it is sprayed.

Even hobby grade topcoat (if applied correctly, provides smooth but flat textures) can become rough, frosty and cause base coat to chip if applied wrongly.
