if you mean gloss paint, probably not..it will take lots of clear coat on top of gloss color and maybe wet sanding and rubbing compound to get it to shine that well...it took me about 3-4 layers of clear to get my kampfer this shiny...
Hey pawces, wassup smile.gif

I guess most of the pros are using the stuff shown in some Plamo-Tsukurou vids, a sort of two-component-resin-clear which stays liquid for a while to harden while on the surface. Therefore it can be wetsanded shortly after even to level-out transfers. Looked very effective...but the stuff must be toxic as hell, for this was the only "color" they put on a serious respirator.

Looking very promising biggrin.gif So what are your first impressions of this kit so far? I remember the GoGo Sazabi being a really nice kit, so high hopes for this one.

It's been pretty solid build so far. Everything has fit together pretty well, and nothing feels loose or has required superglue to stay together. The ankle joints required a ludicrous amount of force to be put into the feet, but they're solid as hell and won't have any trouble keeping Kampfer standing for poses.

Thanks for the info. Plastic looks allright even in your close-up thumbup.gif . Just ordered a copy @Samuel so now I'm looking forward even a bit more.

Tons of Thanks for posting this notworthy.gif I've heard that laquer was bad for ABS-plastic...but I didn't know the whole Kämpfer inner-frame would react like this blink.gif Guess I should use enamal-primer then on this guy....
