So I take it that's a Gundam ver. ka conversion kit? That's actually pretty good-looking, even if it is all grey plastic. Sure as hell beats resin.

I'm personally waiting for GoGo's new Kampfer kit to come out. I'm not big on mono-eye mobile suits, but that Kampfer design speaks to me.

It's hardly a surprise on the prices. The Xi is one of the biggest mobile suits made in the Gundam Universe, and its sheer bulk makes even the 1/144 look big next to 1/100 kits.

What's your problem with Momoko? Even B*ndai would have trouble making TGIII stand well with that giant beam cannon attached.

Progress on GoGo Kampfer:

It's been pretty solid build so far. Everything has fit together pretty well, and nothing feels loose or has required superglue to stay together. The ankle joints required a ludicrous amount of force to be put into the feet, but they're solid as hell and won't have any trouble keeping Kampfer standing for poses.

Decided to give it a light weathering and a display base for badass shotgun posing.

Between the sheer size of the Xi and the full inner frame, this is gonna be a pricey HG kit.

That basically comes down to which one's aesthetics you prefer: EVO's sleekness, or Ver. Ka's accurate bulk.

I don't think anyone knows the price for MC Xi Gundam yet. All we know is that it's due out sometime this month, so the price should be revealed soon so pre-orders can start.

My mistake then. I only have one reliable place to buy China Gunpla and it still hasn't gotten a pre-order price yet so I just assumed everywhere else was still in the dark.
