These are the thinner and primer that I used...

Just noticed that the thinner you used are arcylic based, are you sure you're using the same base for primer? Just wondering though....

Anyway, if you want to paint for the Nu, my advise is to clean the parts 1st, then primer them, especially the outer armor parts, because mine seems to be easily 'scratched' off tongue.gif

Good luck thumbup.gif

as the pic i use those 2 products only. maybe i should get Mr.Hobby thinner

1:3 ratio is fine.. i always premix all my paint in that ratio
the main problem of this issue is probably u layered it too thick..
or us airbrush psi is too low, so instead of spraying mist coat, is sprayed thick paints...

lower psi will make the paint came out thick.. what we need it is more like a mist coat to paint...
lower psi mostly use for supergloss finishing...which not involving clearcoat/topcoat.

Got poison-ed by the modelling from you guys.
Would really like to try and buy one. But there are many brands and would like you guys recommend which brand to go for a MG grade, will consider a PG Strike Gundam too. TTHongli or GaoGao?

Thanks biggrin.gif

Best advice is.. do not go for PG strike whistling.gif because the only one out now is by model gd/ghd and they are the worst
Generally, gaogao is better than tthongli since they are both the same company but gaogao is the newer brand name, so newer is usually better tongue.gif
For MGs maybe u should try the newer daban brand, those are pretty good by themselves except with slightly shinier plastic, so if you paint,it will be the best to go for

Wanna get a PG and try ma but budget nia. Price for PG 00 Raiser from Bdai is *bling bling* sweat.gif
So initially is TTHongli and then rebrand to GaoGao after a law case and now they release the product under the name of Daban. So they are the same company but Daban is newer with better quality la, is it? correct me if i am wrong.

I'll scout the market and see if i could get a 00 Raiser, thanks for reply! biggrin.gif

Err IIANM daban and GG are two different companies.

Daban has PG Strike Freedom and GG has PG 00 Raiser. Both are great in PG quality, but to be honest it's not a huge step of difference in details when compared to their MG counterparts. Articulation and excitement of building a PG, of course goes to PG.

Lets not forget GG also has the 2 PG Mkii's and PG WZC, both normal and pearl coating
